Effectiveness of self-instructional module regarding prevention of ventilator associated pneumonia among paediatric staff nurses in selected hospitals at Bangalore

Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) is one of the most common hospitals acquired infection and associated with increased mortality rate. Prevention VAP very important aspect while caring for mechanically ventilator patient. The nurse’s role in prevention significant as they provide care to critically ill patient round clock. This study aims evaluate effectiveness Self-Instructional Module (SIM) on paediatric staff nurses knowledge regarding selected Hospitals at Bangalore. Material Methods: A Quasi experimental group pre-test post-test design was adopted. conducted 40 working Bangalore, who were by Non probability purposive sampling technique.
